Starting to feel washed af when it comes to remembering names lately. Had to look up who played Scarecrow in Batman Begins & RG3’s real name because I couldn’t recall it off the top of my head.

So I might have sleep apnea. I’m seeing the doc right now. I have a pretty bad deviated septum and I’m hoping that’s the cause. I want to get the surgery. I DONT wanna have to do a sleep study or sleep with a cpap machine every night.

I have the same thing. I went to see a doc but he was being shady and wanted to prescribe me a bunch of pills. He prob gets a commission off that. I want to do the sleep study but he wouldn’t give the permission to the clinic to do it. I don’t breathe well through my nose and I gets tired easily throughout the day, like not well rested because my nose is struggling for air when I sleep. Gotta find another’s doctor. The surgery isn’t permanent though, the tissue will grow back.

Oh dang really? I thought with a septoplasty they literally just re-break your nose back into realignment. Just got back from the dr and he didn’t mess about. Said I didn’t need to waste time on the sleep clinic study. He said my tonsils are the biggest he’s seen and that combined with my messed up nose, basically it’s a wonder how I haven’t died in my sleep by now

Scheduling an ear nose and throat specialist to set a date for some sort of surgery. It’s gonna suck wasting a week of vacation healing up.

Dude that’s also SUPER shady for your doc to start prescribing pills for that. Def tryna line his pockets :smh:

I had a friend that have similar problems. He went through surgery a couple of times because of the tissue growing back. Do you feel not rested throughout the day too? There was a couple of times I choked when I was asleep because of no air going through. I wonder if I have the same thing as what your doc said.

That **** face was for sure trying to milk it. When I had questions I saw a look on his face like I was wasting his time. I was heated.

Yeah I’ve woken up gasping for air. I snore pretty bad and my girlfriend said multiple times she’s seen me not breathing for a LONG time in my sleep. I absolutely never feel rested. I get about 4-5 hours sleep a night maybe.

Cpap machine is for life and I REALLY ain’t lookin forward to that if that’s the solution. Having air FORCED down my throat every night is not the move.

Have me out here like

I used to get some mild obstructive sleep apnea, but it went away when I lost ten pounds. I was reading the other day that there’s a strong correlation between it and being overweight. Not saying it will help you, you might be stick thin, but I read that 50% of people afflicted are overweight or obese.

Posted in another thread but feel washed thinking back about this show.
They had a full marathon of these on Centric a couple years ago, then I guess they lost the rights to it and I haven’t seen it on network TV since :frown: don’t even think they have it on DVD nor streaming due to so much licensing smh.
