Haven’t been in this thread in a minute. What’s the consensus on the zoom cmfts?
Got those, still want these. I don't know if I'd get a 4th iteration of Chicago's though.I’m still good on these. They’re already super hyped, and gonna be hyped even more when they drop, but that frosty finish on the red, white contrast stitching, and how cream/off white/sail the midsole is compared to the bright white on the upper (should’ve make all the white parts the same shade IMO), all looks bad IMO. Good luck to those that want them, but I’ll take my 2015 Chis and my Spideys over these.
Yeah it ain’t great but not terrible. Regardless these are worthless to me.It’s not a good look, plus it’s sloppy.
You ain‘t touching these.Got those, still want these. I don't know if I'd get a 4th iteration of Chicago's though.
Stick to the Neutral Grey’s. Resale.Yeah it ain’t great but not terrible. Regardless these are worthless to me.
I have a friend who got an early pair in hand....these are some pics he sent me......![]()

Special box and packaging? Looks pretty basic to me.
Mainly to add to my collection. But could potentially be an investment..? I suppose. Just don’t wanna lose too much for the trade. Are you buying as an investment piece or to actually wear?
Of all the “special” details on these that differentiate them from your normal Chis, the white contrast stitching is the least offensive IMO. I don’t like it, but I hate the frosty finish, and cream outsole with white upper even more.It would be fine on these because they aren’t meant to be OG Chicago’s.
You wouldn’t get a Chi in the ‘85 build? I sure the hell would.Got those, still want these. I don't know if I'd get a 4th iteration of Chicago's though.
Man, I can’t WAIT to get these! I hope the quality of them is good.
Pretty convenient since the replicas are already for saleWhy are there so many early pairs of those. Seems shady.
So is it now acceptable to wear mids now that we know Jordan wore them in '85?Not sure if this belongs in the thread for mids but here's a 1985 player sample made for Michael Jordan which is a mid top. Game used by the goat.
I’ve been out on mids, and will stay out on mids. I think the issue with mids is they don’t have NA and similar type details. If mids were EXACTLY like Highs, just minus the height, I don’t think they’d be as despised by so many. I’m sure the mids MJ wore were exactly like his highs, just a slightly lower height. So is it now acceptable to wear mids now that we know Jordan wore them in '85?
These are OK, I’ve just never been into how deconstructed the aesthetics are of the OW Jordan 1s. Add to that, and the fact that I already have 2 yellow kicks in the Iowa Dunk Highs and Yellow Grateful Dead’s, and I’ll have a 3rd in the Lightning 4s, I’m not too smitten over these. Good luck to those that want them though. It’s gonna be a mad house.![]()

They would be nice to have but having a fresh pair of 2015's I personally feel no need for them. If my 15's were smoked, I had 2013's, or no Chi's at all then yeah I would be all over them no matter what. I feel the same with all the current OG color retros I have. I have no want for any other year retro except for 2011 Breds even though I have 2016's. I knew I shouldn't have sold my retail pairs. Biggest regret of any sneaker I ever had. SMH.You wouldn’t get a Chi in the ‘85 build? I sure the hell would.
