i sold the 13 because side by side with the 17, it was more of a purple. I had a few extra royals so I was able to cherry pic the best leather pairs.

I remember ppl saying how inconsistent the leather on both of those pairs were. I got lucky cuz my royals are the same exact stuff they used on the blk/reds. It’s not saying much but ppl posted pics of plastic and/or mismatched materials on their pairs

😕 I got a pair that was more tumbled than the other.

Beat my 2013’s and was hype to cop another pair on rerelease. Was easily my top AJ1 at the time for it’s rarity, but after picking up my 2017 pair on release day, I was slowly disappointed.

Not just the one shoe more tumbled than the other, but the toebox was more boxy on mine, than the 2013’s. I also prefer the more muted shade of blue on the 2013’s rather than the “louder” blue on the 2017’s. Also, my 2013’s fit like a glove.
