Dope, but I think I’m passing. Although I’ve been dreaming of a Black Toe w/ Black Tongue (with red of course), and I do love green, I’m more a fan of a darker Pine Green. Clean nonetheless, but I’m not in dire need of these.

Commercial diving was going to be my career path once upon a time…Hurt my back and knee so it’s all about leisure diving for this old dog…Pay is probably on par with what a nurse makes, or at least it was when I was heading in that direction…Can make a great living but it’s tons of working hours so doesn’t leave much room for having down time if you want to make the higher end of the pay scale…FWIW, depending on the situation, the dirtier the job the better the pay; so yeah read into that as you will…

All these photos are filtered anyway. Brightness enhanced. Plus swapping out the laces. They’ll be perfect with true green Celtics gear, plus vintage Celtics gear, not that new city forest green alternate.

That is correct. It was the 1997-98 season because it was his last game at Madison Square Garden as a Bull. It's easy to tell because of the shorts since it was the first year the Bulls changed to solid black for their alternate color uniform.

He acknowledged he endured discomfort playing in those shoes because of their age and condition. I believe he mentioned his feet were sore as well.

He wore them because he had a feeling it was going to be his last visit to MSG as a Bull. He wanted to get retro with it like that in the Mecca.

I think his exact quote was something along the lines of the bottom of his shoes were "covered in blood."

Which I'm still skeptical of.
