This, inna nutshell, is part of KL and his fan base problem.

Yall think yall smarter than you actually are. and when somebody aint feelin ol boy, you gotta make em out to be stupid bc its just no other reason someone wouldnt like dude right? Lol

Yall on that kyrie.

New bo jack may 20th. ✊🏾

I never said they couldn't have opinion. Music is an art which makes it subjective. However their reasoning for not liking the music was in fact stupid. Stupid people have opinions too.

How else would we know they're stupid?

Also I like the MURDER and DRUG DEALING music they're talking about. If they said, "Oh I don't like the production" or "I don't like Kendrick's flow or the way he switches his voice" like Grine Grine said which is a respectable opinion. Nah they went directly at the content because well.....they're stupid.

I don't think people are making Kendrick out to be this super complex lyricist with bars only geniuses can decipher. In fact i think his biggest draw is that he takes really complex subjects & thoughts and makes them easily digestible.

But that sentiment of i only like music about killing, drugs & *****es is a very real one. Yes people are trolling sometimes, but there's definitely people who are incapable of enjoying Kendricks music because they can't relate to anything that isn't made for the purpose of being mind numbing.

Kendricks music is always extremely personal & analytical, vulnerable..... We got a whole generation trying everything to run from their feelings & true emotions. So the production heavy, money/drug talk is a perfect escape for em.

That is kind of my issue with the album tho, It's clear Kendrick is talking specifically to black america (more specifically the hood). Unfortunately everything he's talking about are things that people shy away from in our community & the production he wrapped around this is going to keep those who need to hear it far away.

DAMN was his put the medicine in the candy album so i get him not wanting to do it again, but i think a lot of this isn't gonna be taken as it should because of the production.

To be fair, it’s wild to see these tweets that lowkey look like parodies saying they prefer their rap to be about murder, drugs, and violence….

And we literally just had a multiple page discussion about the negative impact that mindset has. Oh well.

Jewish people never let the holocaust victims names go on vain, but our people always disrespecting the slaves… smh
Exactly. We need to always remember it to keep that fire burning in us to not accept the pittance that they hand to us under the guise of "freedom" and "equality ". Jewish make certain that the holocaust is taught to their kids and in school history. They make certain everyone who was involved has to pay up.
