Hopefully he'll be alright.

Sad story man. Are you applyin at other shops around town or what are your current plans?

That's also kinda weak they tried to make you re-pay the retail price for pairs you got friends. I know whenever I go I always get a bunch of stuff for myself but also get a pair for my brother, mom or roommate just to be nice. >D

Good luck findin work man. Sorry to hear how it went down.

If you have good connects...don't throw em up though like that on ebay. >D

Quote:

The next day he had already found someone that was willing to hook me up with a pair so I jumped on it. Word spread around my work and online about those shoes and that I had a few pairs. So I decided to put a pair up on ebay to see what kind off money I could get for em. I had my auction up for three days before having to take the auction down.

So someone was kind enough ta hook you up and you went straight ta ebay?

Yes I did. Two kids are not cheap.
And the person who hooked me up knew the risk of getting rid of them. The actions taken was not brought on by me.
That person was "Kind enough" to get paid for them.

i agree with manglor. it sucks that you got fired, but you brought it upon yourself. you should never have put them on the 'bay...

again, don't lie to yourself, putting them on the 'bay WAS the action that brought it on.

Our parents came to this land escaping persecution, poverty, and hunger. Hunger..they were very, very hungry. They wanted to live in a land that treated them as equals. A land filled with hamburger stands. And not just one type of hamburger, many kinds, with different sizes, toppings, and condiments... This is about achieving what our parents set out for. This night is about the pursuit of happiness...

No doubt. Sorry about the job, but you guys need to keep your shoes on the low. I'm sure it's hard to, but take it as a lesson learned.

i was thinking that too why you threw it up on ebay when someone just hooked you up. i dont own any PEs but ive been getting info from another PE collector on NT and the first thing they let you know about is don't just put them up on ebay, especially college PEs. I mean noone can stop you from selling them but their are risks because I was told nike doesn't like PEs on ebay.

You have a sick PE collection so you must have known their were risks selling them on ebay? Alot of PE collectors say they don't like selling them on ebay at a risk of losing their connections.

Sorry about your situation and you'll bounce back. And you do have a sick collection.

The action brought on me was losing my job. So how does putting them on ebay equal losing my job?
The NCAA investigation has nothing to do with me. The person who gave up there shoes made that happen by selling them.

So the NCAA tried to interrogate you? What did Nike do, they just fired you because of that? Sorry to hear about this, so you can't work at like Niketown or any Nike store?

So the NCAA investigates shoes now? :rolleyes

Damn NCAA and their strict policies... >:
